The winning work ultimately serves to educate the marketplace about what works and why in digital advertising, as well as inspire the community by pointing to future trends and where the industry is heading.

The Awards have been divided into three broad categories – Industry Sector Awards, Discipline Awards for Campaign and Special Awards.

Industry Sector Awards cover 21 sub-categories, while Discipline Awards for Campaigns cover 17 sub-categories. The idea is to include all the industries and disciplines so that ‘real achievers’ from each sector are facilitated.

Education is a very important sector, and DIGIXX will acknowledge digital marketing excellence in education sector. It is open to any brand operating in the sector.

2016 was one of the landmark years for the BFSI sector. There are two categories to felicitate this sector – Financial Service Awards, which acknowledges digital marketing excellence in financial services sector. It is open to any brand operating in the financial services sector. And second category is Banking Services Award, which acknowledges digital marketing excellence in the banking services sector.

Easier access, growing awareness and ever-changing lifestyles have been the key growth drivers for the FMCG sector. Being the fourth largest sector in the Indian economy, the market size of FMCG in India is estimated to grow from US$30 billion in 2011 to US$74 billion in 2018. To recognise the talent behind this important segment, there are two categories – Consumer Goods, which acknowledge digital marketing excellence in the consumer goods sector; and FMCG, which acknowledge digital marketing excellence in the fast moving consumer goods sector.

The year 2016 was the tipping point for the media and entertainment industry in India. The increased penetration of video-on-demand platform and free data offers have been disrupting the segment and will continue to. To honour the best in the industry, we present our Media & Entertainment category to acknowledge digital marketing excellence in media sector. It is open to any brand operating in the sector.

E-commerce, too, has had its own share of the growing pie. With an aim to acknowledge digital marketing excellence in the e-commerce sector, there is the E-commerce category, which is open to any brand operating in this sector.

The DIGIXX Awards 2017 screening committee – comprising senior marketing and media professionals – will evaluate and score each submission. Every entry is evaluated by multiple committee members to ensure an accurate, thorough review. The top five entries with the highest scores will be selected Finalists for each category.
