DIGIXX 2018 to recognise the Most Powerful Influencer on digital

With brands increasingly partnering with social media influencers, industry experts are calling 2018 as the year of ‘Influencer Marketing’. Influencer marketing is the new buzzword in the cosmopolitan world of social media, where it is almost impossible to have a tête-à-tête with a marketer without discussing the power of influencers in brand communication. A Zefmo report, titled India Influence Report 2018, states that 92 per cent of the marketers will resort to influencer marketing campaigns because of their effectiveness. 

An influencer on digital, as described by Pixlee.com, is a user on social media who has established credibility in a specific industry and has access to a large audience. He/she can persuade others by virtue of their authenticity and reach, thereby helping brands in building relationships with their audiences. 

To recognise these impactful individuals, the DIGIXX Awards are back for its second edition, with a few additions – the latest one being ‘The Most Powerful Influencer on Digital’ under the Outstanding Awards category. The award aims to felicitate an individual who has a commanding presence on social media – be it a YouTuber with immense fan following, an avid blogger, a youth icon who started a relevant conversation or a movement on social media, a marketer who went much beyond brand promotion to make a powerful social commentary.
