DIGIXX is a great initiative for deserving digital work: Vivek Bhargava

The world is changing. ‘Digital’ today is not just a word, but a phenomenon that has changed the way of life. Leveraging on this insight, Adgully in association with ad:tech has initiated the DIGIXX Awards. The DIGIXX Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in Digital Marketing & Advertising. The Awards seek to set industry-wide benchmark in digital engagement. DIGIXX Awards will be a true marker for digital initiatives that are innovative, creative and effective. 

The Awards will be judged by an independent panel of highly acclaimed leaders from the advertising and marketing ecosystem. 

Part of the esteemed jury for DIGIXX 2017, Vivek Bhargava is CEO of DAN Performance Group, where he is responsible for all the Digital Performance Agencies of Dentsu Aegis Media. Bhargava is the founder and Managing Director of iProspect Communicate 2. About 20 years ago, Bhargava actualised his entrepreneurial edge by founding Communicate 2, which emerged to be one of India’s largest Search and Social Media Specialist organisations. In 2012, Communicate 2 was acquired by iProspect (Aegis Media). 

On being asked about DIGIXX 2017, Bhargava said, “These are exciting times, where digital has become a way of life and not just a mere marketing medium. ad:tech and Adgully are names to reckon with in the advertising and marketing space – the DIGIXX Awards is a great joint initiative undertaken to recognise deserving digital professionals in our country today and the work done by them. I’m glad to be a part of the jury and looking forward to witnessing some superior campaigns created in the digital realm.” 

Bhargava has spent the last 20 years guiding the Digital Strategies of the likes of MTV, Newscorp, Citi Bank, TCS, HDFC Bank, ClearTrip, and Reliance in both Indian and Global Markets. He is a regular speaker at global events such as Ad-tech, SES, SMX, I-com, and the Apex Digital conferences in India. 

The screening committee of the DIGIXX Awards 2017 comprises senior marketing and media professionals, who will evaluate and score each submission. Every entry is evaluated by multiple committee members to ensure an accurate, thorough review. The top five entries with the highest scores will be selected Finalists for each category. 

The DIGIXX Awards will be premier during the ad:tech conference in New Delhi, to be held on March 9 and 10, 2017. It is being widely welcomed by industry leaders. 

Entries to the Awards is now open. Last date to submit the entries is January 31, 2017.
