Discovery partners with SLT PEO TV; Launches Discovery Kids in Sri Lanka

Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (South Asia) announced the launch of its eighth channel - DISCOVERY KIDS - in Sri Lanka.  The 24-hour kids’ channel will be available from August 30 on SLT PEO TV. PEO TV customers can now enjoy unlimited kids programmes with their children on Discovery Kids on channel Sixty Four (64).

Discovery Kids seeks to entertain and educate children with content that sparks their curiosity and helps to develop their cognitive, social, emotional and personal skills, bringing families together by promoting co-viewing with parents. The target audience for Discovery Kids is children between four to 14 years and their parents.

Discovery Kids has planned a robust pipeline of path-breaking programming that includes international and India themed series. Committed to offering a comprehensive viewing experience and cater to diverse demands of kids in Sri Lanka, Discovery Kids’ programming formats include highest-quality animation and engaging live action series under multiple genres such as adventure, mythology, nature, history and science.

With Sally’s intelligence and detective skills, no mystery or case is too hard to solve, with a dash of Bollywood flair in SALLY BOLLYWOOD.  Young viewers will enter the prehistoric era of dinosaurs and dragons in DINOFROZ.

Meanwhile, 1001 NIGHTS brings the most famous and charming tales of 1001 Arabian Nights to the screen. WILD KRATTS is an animated series that explores the coolest creatures from the oceans to the trees. MISTER MAKER proves that possibilities are endless when it comes to art and crafts.
