DMAi initiates the DMAi Hall of Fame!

Celebrating the spirit of direct / interactive marketing – innovation, collaboration, creativity and services, DMAi has initiated the DMAi Hall of fame. DMAi's Hall of Fame will honor direct marketing professionals, outstanding career contributions to the practice, growth, and stature of the direct marketing process. Modeled along the lines of DMA Hall of Fame which is the most prestigious award bestowed in the direct marketing community, DMAi Hall of Fame will be felicitating the lifetime achievers who have made significant contributions, and raised the standards and level of professionalism in marketing. The recognition will be in two categories living & posthumous and as many as 4 individuals can be inducted every year.
 
Lifetime achievement in Direct Marketing just doesn’t end in excelling but also constantly inspiring and mentoring future generations and encouraging them to strive for excellence. It will all be at DMAi global convention 2012! This global convention is the only event that will bring together thousands of practitioners and other experts from the entire marketing continuum to discuss solutions and best practices in direct marketing that leads to measurable results.
 
Subrat Pani, Co-Founder at OneAssist Consumer Solutions Pvt Ltd, Nand Kumar R. Head - Corporate Communications at ACC Limited, Ramakrishnan, Group CEO Polycab Wires, Ajay Chandwani of Percept Limited, Winnifred Knight from Member Global advisory board DMA US have all come together on the committee as the selectors for the DMAi Hall of fame. On the committee of selectors will also be Sanjiv Swarup, Founder Director, DMAi , Vatsal Asher, CEO, DMAi & Shelly Singh, Director, DMAi
 
Talking about the initiative, Vatsal Asher, CEO, DMAi says “In line with our continuous efforts to create recognition for marketers who have made a difference in the way brands communicate with customers, we have initiated the DMAi Hall of Fame which will recognize scholars, marketers, creatives and entrepreneurs for the knowledge of the history of the direct/ interactive community. While the Hall of fame has been initiated late in our journey, it’s always better late than never”
 
This initiative comes just days away from the commencement of India’s first-of-its-kind global convention for direct marketing, to be hosted by DMAi at the Leela, Sahar in Mumbai from 1st to 4th August. Poised to be a single platform for all multichannel marketing including traditional, interactive and futuristic channels; this global convention will give out the trends, latest news, best practices and industry insights from global participants.
 
The global convention by Direct Marketing Association: India will be the first ever conclave that will feature global learning in strategic marketing with special focus on direct marketing including traditional, interactive and futuristic channels; with a participation from over 100 global and Indian companies
