DNA elevated Dipayan Chowdhury to the position of National Sales (Head), DNA

Daily news and analysis DNA ' owned by Diligent Media Corporation Limited, recently, elevated Dipayan Chowdhury to the position of Executive Vice President (Revenues) at DNA. Prior to this he was heading the newspaper's Delhi branch for the last 2 years. He has been with DNA from past 5 years.

DNA got established 4 years back and now has emerged as the 2nd largest broadsheet daily in cities like - Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, with a total readership of 12.82 lakhs in Mumbai alone. It is also the 7th largest English daily in India and one of the most preferred newspapers for advertisers.

K.U. Rao, CEO, DNA on Dipayan's appointment said, "Dipayan has been with us since inception and has scripted the success of our North India operations. He understands the culture and the many issues that need to be managed. He knows the team the well and will be able to settle down quickly. I am sure he will lead with élan."

Then, Dipayan on his appointment said, "It is an honour to head the department and the challenge shall be to synergise the strength of the brand across editions with revenues."

Dipayan Chowdhury has 19 years of experience across the media and FMCG sectors. He started his career with Pepsi co. and was instrumental in launching the brand in Delhi. His stint with ABP and Business Standard helped him gain expertise in the print media. Prior to joining DNA, Dipayan was heading the key accounts team of Hindustan Times (Delhi).
