Dulux unveils 'Colours and You' with Shahid Kapoor and Boman Irani

With a mission to add colours to people’s lives and redefine wall décor, Dulux, from the house of AkzoNobel - the largest paints and coatings company and the maker of specialty chemicals, today unveiled for the first time in India, a colour book dedicated to creating beautiful homes which are truly representative of the colours and vibrancy of individual personality types.
 
The Dulux colour book ‘Colours and You’ leads you to realize that every colour tells a story and that homes are reflections of personality types. The book is a natural evolution of the brand’s journey in its successful thematic campaign “Apne Rang Chhalakne Do”. Featuring Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Boman Irani, the book was unveiled in an exclusive event hosted in Mumbai.
 
‘Colours and You’ – is an assortment of colour combinations that leverage Dulux’s knowledge and expertise in colour trends and its application in home décor. It follows a VIBGYOR navigation pattern that allows the consumer to easily navigate a spectrum of spontaneous and innovative colour combinations, both for interior and exterior walls of a home. Furthermore, consumers can also take a colour quiz that helps them explore what colour best defines their personality. From “Rascal Red” to “Good Boy Green” and “Easy Going Blue” to “Happy Go Lucky Yellow”, the book connotes the association between colours and expressions, emotions, attitudes and achievements of different personality types. In essence, clearly establishing how colours and homes are an expression of an individual’s identity, temperament and psyche.

Both the brand champions have imbibed various Dulux colours to portray different personality types featured in the book. While Shahid brings to the table a lot of youthfulness and charm, Boman enlivens up the colour book with his energy and exuberance. Their togetherness adds dynamism and playfulness and energizes this book – the atlas of colorful homes.
