Edelman APAC goes for new leadership

Rakesh Thukral has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific after reorganizing the management team following the arrival of Warren Fernandez at Edelman as Regional CEO.
Edelman's leadership team restructure in the Asia-Pacific region includes Thukral's new position. He will continue to serve as managing director for India and report to Fernandez as COO, with responsibility for managing daily operations throughout the region.
Adrian Warr has also resigned from his position as CEO for Southeast Asia because Fernandez is now the market's sole report. The company's brand, corporate, impact, and ESG teams, as well as the health and technology sectors, are all under the direction of Warr, regional vice-chairman for practises and sectors. His new position follows the recent departure of John Kerr, vice-chairman of technology at Edelman, who spent 17 years working for Edelman and Zeno in Asia.
