Eggfirst bags recognition at the 52nd ABCI Awards

Eggfirst scored a hat-trick as it won for the third straight year at ABCI Awards. Adding to its triumphs in 2010 and 2011, Eggfirst bagged a Bronze at this year’s ABCI Awards.

ABCI or Association of Business Communicators of India is the country’s largest non-profit organization for business communications professionals. Its Annual Awards Nite has seen highly competitive participation from India’s leading corporate and media circles.

The 52nd ABCI Awards Nite, hosted at the Taj Mahal Hotel, was no different and saw several agencies and corporate fight it out for glory. Eggfirst scored a bronze for its innovative and thought provoking creative for Shivam Autozone. Eggfirst’s award winning creative embodied Shivam Autozone’s philosophy - Live The Change. The creative urged people to bring alive the philosophy by participating in the process of bringing change in the community. Rendered innovatively, Eggfirst touched upon several social messages like save water, save trees, don’t use plastic bags, don’t drink & drive, stop child labour and stop air pollution.

Eggfirst has been the marketing partner of Shivam Autozone since its inception, scripting several marketing successes in Shivam’s short journey so far.

A beaming Maanoj Choudhari, Creative Director - Eggfirst, exclaimed, “We wanted to convey a social message through the creative, not just make a showpiece. The result is right in front of you. Our Art Director, Chandresh Waghela, deserves special credit for cracking this creative.”

Mr. Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister - Goa, was the chief guest for the evening, while Anant Goenka, Head - New Media, Indian Express Group, presented the award to Eggfirst.

Ashish Banka, Vice President - Eggfirst, said, “It was an honour to receive the award in presence of such dignitaries. We hope to do even better in the coming year.”

Considering their past record, looks like that’s a promise Eggfirst will surely live up to.
