NavaRashtra being a responsible media house of Maharashtra brought a unique idea to celebrate Independence Day, with the enthusiasm of citizens of Nagpur by appealing to them to stand for the unity of the nation with the name “Ek Minute Rashtra Ke Naam''. The whole city sang our national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ at a predefined time 09:09 am on the 15th of August 2022. The only purpose behind this initiative was to engage the entire city and express our love towards the Nation

The 75 brands had associated with 9 Government Departments of Nagpur, 50 Business Partners and 16 NGOs for this initiative. 

The entire event has 360 degrees of media coverage in Newspaper, Radio, Hoardings, Digital and Social Media.

How was it executed?

  • The Brand identified 75 key circles and locations that were decorated with balloons and installed the sound, where the public performed the national anthem.
  • The Brand appealed to the Nagpur Citizens through Newspapers, Radio, Hoardings, Digital and Social media for this initiative.
  • The association was done with Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur Police, Nagpur Smart City, Maharashtra Tourism, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Ayush, Maharashtra Energy Development Agency, NGOs and Business Partners.
  • The Brand has taken the permission from NMC and Smart City Govt. department to use their all sound systems for national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’, which is installed at circles for announcement.
  • Nagpur city resonated with ‘Jana Gana Mana’ for 1 minute on the 15th of August when the whole town sang the national anthem exactly at 09:09 am at 75 circles and locations.

Radhakrishnan B. (I. A. S.), Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation: This initiative has brought Nagpur citizens together and created a proud moment for the Nation and the entire city.

Sandeip Vishnoi, Vice President, NavaBharat Group: It was an extension of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. We wanted to give voice to Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and we did that by connecting all age groups of Nagpur citizens.
