Winners Speak

Prasanth Kumar, CEO - South Asia, Mindshare:
“The awards are a direct result of the effort and hard work put in by each and everyone in the team. We at Mindshare believe in recognising our employees’ skills and commitment, which is further driven to a level of aspiration that leads to rewarding experiences such as the EMVIES. Winning these awards by such a large margin is not only a testimony to our accomplishments so far, but also significantly adds to the quality of service we intend to deliver. Creating ground-breaking innovations and strategies has been Mindshare’s forte and this has kept us at the forefront in the industry.”

CVL Srinivas, CEO, GroupM South Asia:
“GroupM agencies have had a dream run at the EMVIES this year like most other years. I must first of all congratulate our clients who push us to keep raising the bar year after year. Clients who believe in innovation and back our teams to take risks are the ones who win and in turn help us win. Our teams have worked very hard to keep delivering client delight year after year. We have a strong HR and Talent management culture at GroupM and on days like this we realise how important it is to keep the focus on talent development.”

Amin Lakhani, Leader, South Asia, Team Unilever, Mindshare:
“EMVIES are like our local Oscars. I think in our minds it is the most coveted media award an agency can get and, therefore, winning it by such an awesome margin is an awesome feeling.”

“EMVIES has evolved with the times, there are a lot more new categories. If I compare this with something that participated 8-9 years back, there is a lot of evolution, a lot of variation that EMVIES brings in. It keeps raising the bar year-on-year. This year itself we have a few new categories. There were more than 35 judges involved in the entire process. The entire judging process happened over two rounds. I see very few awards processes having so many rounds.”

“In the coming years, I would like to see Mindshare winning more and more awards at EMVIES.”

Nandini Dias, CEO, Lodestar UM:
“We are delighted that we have done well. Our focus on strategy and research helped us stay ahead. This year we have invested considerably on developing tools and processes which enable a planner think about offline and online in a seamless manner. I am extremely proud that we won across different product categories, where Lodestar UM got the opportunity to exhibit the vast canvas of services that we offer. This victory is a testimony of how we are partnering the clients to achieve their business and strategic goals. Lodestar UM continues its winning streak and I am extremely proud of my team that has been consistently delivering great work.”

Dhruv Jha, General Manager, Lodestar UM:
“Winning an EMVIE is recognition of all the hard work that a media company does. Fortunately, EMVIES recognises sweat and toil in different quarters that we put in. Whether it is the execution, strategy, implementing the whole thing and then going out and making it work. And we are delighted that we have done well. This year, we have been investing constantly on our processes – both offline and online – in a very seamless manner.”

“EMVIES is getting better every year. And I see a lot of professionalism coming in, both in terms of the kind of entries made and the type of cases that are presented. I have been involved in the entries for the past 12 years and more.”

“I think we have already been adding quite a bit every year and we are doing well. So, we don’t know whether we need to add more, but as we evolve we keep adding.”

Gaurav Jeet Singh, Head - Media Services, South Asia at Hindustan Unilever:
“We are very excited on winning an EMVIE, because it brings together what you work for through the years. It brings together our partners, key partner being, of course, Mindshare. The kind of work which these partners do for us is a result of fine determination and hard work. All the planners, all the young media planners in the agencies have done such brilliant work. So it means a lot.”
