EMVIEs received 717 entries across 19 categories; An all time record!

EMVIEs, the premier media awards instituted by The Advertising Club Bombay in 2001 is completing eleven years. Befitting the occasion the Ad Club has received an unprecedented response receiving 717 entries across 19 categories an all time record. The Ad Club had received 397 entries last year. The record entries are an indication of the growing media industry and the constantly evolving high standards.

The EMVIEs Committee at the Ad Club brought about certain changes in the categories, sub dividing some and also introducing new ones. Thus Digital is sub divided into Web, Social Media, Search & Mobile, Out of Home & Ambient Media are two separate categories and Branded / Scripted Content is a new category introduced.

As many as 31 agencies have participated in the competition and their work will be judged by 80 top notch media professionals in Round I that will spread over for three days. The Round II will happen on 17th & 18th of August in the popular format of Case Study Presentation at Welingkar Institute. The Round II is judged only by the marketing professionals.

Taking the course of event into consideration it is an ideal recipe for a grand awards ceremony that will happen on Friday, 26th August, 2011 at Taj Lands End, Bandra.

The awards ceremony is attended by over 1000 die heard professionals from Media, Marketing, Advertising, Research & Communications fraternity.
