England's cricketers participate in IPL at your own risk: England Cricket Board

Stay away from IPL! First it was Australia then Pakistan, and now it is England's cricketers, but here the reason is entirely different. The cricketers are advised to skip the next months Indian Premiere League (IPL) for security reasons.

The cricketers' body has found the security threats to the Twenty20 event credible in its assessment. About seven England's cricketers - Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Eoin Morgan, Owais Shah, Ravi Bapora, Dimitri Mascarenhas and Graham Napier are part of the various IPL franchises.

Moreover, England cricket boards have washed their hands of the safety of players in India, warning them to participate in the IPL at their own risk.

IPL starts in Mumbai on March 12 and most cricket boards have left it on individual players to decide about their participation.
