English News Channels to return to BARC's fold from midnight

English News Channels which had pulled out of BARC on May 18th,2017 are set to return to BARC's fold from midnight of May 27th 2017.They will also reintroduce the watermarking from midnight.

It may be recalled that a senior BARC official had told adgully about the English News Channels that had pulled out of BARC were open to amicably resolving the impasse.

Following BARC refusing to withhold releasing Republic TV debut week ratings the English News Channels had decided to pull out of BARC. Earlier, the News Broadcasters Association (NBA) had urged BARC not to release Republic TV's rating in light of the Multiple frequency feed row.
