Entries open for aha’s “Nenu Super Woman”

Making headway into a Business Reality Show, aha, is on a quest to fulfil women’s aspirations of embarking on an entrepreneurial journey and finding financial independence. The first-of-its-kind advocacy, the digital streaming platform presents ‘Nenu Super Woman’, which will reinvigorate the Women entrepreneur ecosystem.

Undoubtedly, doing better for women entrepreneurs will be better for the global economy, but they’re often held back due to systemic barriers and socio-economic reasons.  aha’s ‘Nenu Super Woman’ will provide a platform and an opportunity for women entrepreneurs with intriguing business ideas, business prototypes or active businesses that will be evaluated by business investors, a.k.a The Angels.

Meet the ANGELS who will mentor, invest, and provide a vision for these budding entrepreneurs on the show that is set to take Telugu states by storm:

Rohit Chennamaneni - Co Founder of Darwinbox

An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Rohit Chennamaneni, Co- Founder of Darwinbox is a seasoned professional with strong strategic vision and an angel investor to multiple start-ups across domains in both start-ups and top-tier organizations. He is actively involved in the SaaSbhoomi – the primary SaaS ecosystem builder. Rohit will invest in disruptive ideas and mentor India’s budding entrepreneurs.

Swathi Reddy Gunupati - Founder of Mudhra Ventures

Swathi Reddy Gunupati, founder and Managing Partner at Mudhra Ventures, is driven by passion and leads investments, growth strategy and business development. Being a millennial, she understands the consumer industry, and her intuitive ideas in the field of F & B, along with wellness, led her to invest in a luxury wellness brand and start her own gourmet pizza brand. An alumnus of Stanford University, Swathi’s Mudhra Ventures portfolio consists of investments in defense, wellness, food, and entertainment. 

Sridhar Gadhi - Founder and Executive Chairman of Quantela Inc

Sridhar Gadhi has established himself as a passionate entrepreneur and an expert that offers outcomes-based business solutions through the digitization of urban infrastructure. With his unique ability to connect the dots from strategy to tactics, he laid the foundation of Quantela Inc in 2015. The company, since then, has been driven to success, from a simple dashboard company to a market leader in smart city solutions. Under his dynamic leadership, Quantela 2015 has emerged as the industry leader in its category.

Renuka Bodla - Venture Partner of Silverneedle Ventures

An alumnus of the IIM Calcutta and a Head of Novartis Biome India, Renuka Bodla is currently part of Silverneedle Ventures. After her 20-year stint at MNCs, including Oracle, Cisco, GE, and Novartis, Renuka joined as Venture Partner in Silverneedle Ventures. Renuka has constantly built platforms to facilitate growth and grow the company from scratch to enable multiple functions and teams.

Sudhakar Reddy - Founder and CEO of Abhi Bus

Sudhakar Reddy is the CEO & founder of Abhibus, India’s fastest-growing bus ticketing company that clocked over USD 200M in annualized sales within 13 years of launch. The consumer brand works with 3500 Private/ Public operators and sells about 2M seats monthly. Abhibus merged with Ixigo Group in 2021 to take the company public and started a new venture, Freshbus, to take the EV initiative forward to change the way we bus. Sudhakar was an alumnus of Anna University, Madras.

Follow a simple four (4) step-process to try your luck in turning around your business idea, business prototype or active business into a successful reality and be the Super Woman who will inspire lot of women to dream big and accomplish their dreams. 

STEP 1 - ONLINE APPLICATION

Click/browse the given link – https://tally.so/r/wvXg4D and fill out the registration form by following the instructions and accepting the terms and conditions. The entrants must explain what makes their business idea unique and why it is worth investing in the form of a compelling video pitch (1 minute long), which will determine whether the notion is worthy of consideration for aha's Nenu Super Woman.  

STEP 2 – ONLINE TRAINING

During this phase, the team will train the entrants virtually. Nenu Super Woman group will conduct a three-day training session which will be helping the participants with all aspects of business such as – economics, operations, finance, strategy, functions and much more.

STEP 3 – IN PERSON MENTORSHIP

In this phase, the selected applicants will meet the mentors who would enquire about their ideas, pitches and nurture the participants with the business entity.

STEP 4 – FINAL PITCH ON THE SHOW

This is the ultimate test of perseverance. The 40 chosen candidates, or "Super Woman" from the above classified steps will meet the "ANGELS" a.ka. investors face-to-face, who will comprehend, evaluate, and make an offer based on the candidate's final "pitch."

The show concept is co-produced by Group M and aha collaborates with WeHub in quest of Women entrepreneurs across Telugu states. Applications to be closed by 5^th February.
