ESPN's Vijay Rajput joins Discovery Networks APAC

Rajput who left the ESPN Software India Private Limited as Chief Operating Officer early this year, has now joined Discovery Networks Asia Pacific as Advisor commercial operations.

Vijay Rajput, the former COO of ESPN Star Sports is an accomplished professional with over 29 years of multi-functional experience in multinational companies in India including 17 years in the media industry.

Sources inform that Rajput will be looking after affiliate sales of the network at APAC.

Armed by a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he started his career been an Article Assistant. Rajput has also worked as Assistant Manager wih Uniproducts India Ltd, as DGM Operations at Fujitsu and as CFO & Sr. VP - Admin & HR with ESPN Software India Private Limited where he worked for more than 15 years and was last designated as COO.
