ET NOW strengthens its edit team, gets R Sridharan as Exec. Editor

R. Sridharan, Senior Editor - News & Trends has been appointed as Executive Editor of ET NOW with immediate effect. Sri who joined ET NOW in September 2008, has been instrumental in driving the qualitative content of the evening band and has played a crucial role in the growth of the channel. He will report to Rahul Joshi who looks after the editorial content of both Economic Times and ET NOW. Sri fills in the position which was left vacant with Andy Mukherjee moving back to Singapore.

Sri began his career in mainstream media with The Economic Times on its op-ed feature pages. After a 3 year stint he joined Business Today in New Delhi as Feature writer and worked his way up to become the Managing Editor of Business Today. During his time with Business today he also held the post of editor of Harvard Business Review South Asia, a facsimile copy of its American edition. Sri has studied English literature at Delhi University, journalism at YMCA, Delhi, and has attended the Executive General Management Program at IIM Bangalore. Sri has also worked with The Washington Post in Washington, D.C. as an Alfred Friendly Fellow of 1999.
