ETInsure expands into health insurance aggregation

Online Insurance aggregator, ETInsure, which is backed by Times Internet, announced the launch of health insurance to help consumers find the perfect health insurance plans for their families and parents.

The ETInsure platform is refreshingly unique as it combines advanced learning technologies with extensive user research to simplify the decision making process for users. The user journey starts with selection of the theme that best matches the user’s profile which is followed by a few questions related to their habits and preferences. This data is then fed into an in-house matching system which identifies the core features that are relevant to an individual user’s needs.

Shankar Nath, Principal Officer & Head, ETInsure, said: “Involving users in the consideration process and meshing it with machine learning, significantly improves the user’s quest of finding the right health insurance plan. The approach is so refreshingly balanced that hundreds of users have volunteered their feedback and helped us further improve our algorithms.”

Currently, ETInsure has tied up with three health insurance companies - Religare Health Insurance, Star Health Insurance and Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company, and would soon be adding more partners to their roster.

ETInsure is an IRDA-licensed insurance web aggregator and has helped over a million visitors to search & compare plans from 15+ partners in car, two-wheeler and health insurance.
