With the digital platform opening up new vistas for advertising and brand promotions, the players in this nascent industry are witnessing a super growth rate in business since the last couple of years. Founded in 2011, Viralocity Interactive Solutions (VIS) through its brand LikeMyWorld has been  offering holistic digital and social media marketing solutions to brands with a special focus on utilization of technology. It seeks to provide brands engaging solutions that helps them in a building consumer base and then retain and multiply the followers. Little wonder than in a short span of its existence it has built a clients portfolio that includes Viacom-MTV, Payback India, Madura  Garments- Van Heusen, Star Plus, Naukri.com and many more. And the company has been working with large agencies like DDB Mudra Group (Tribal DDB India), Hungama Digital, Dentsu, Quasar etc.

Speaking to Adgully, Anuj Parashar, Co-founder, VIS says, “The entire Digital Marketing Segment is our Market. There is no limitation to the market that we can explore. Since its inception in 2011, LikeMyWorld has seen an average growth of 30% quarter on quarter.” Alumni of IIM with a work experience in global MNCs like SAP, Anuj ventured forth to fulfill his entrepreneurial cravings and launched LikeMyWorld.

But it does not help by merely setting up an enterprise, it has to be nurtured and grow in the face of tough competition, be it any industry today. Avers Parashar, “The competition, like in any field is intense. But of course, the bigger the competition, the more we are motivated to excel.” VIS’ approach has always been to provide end-to-end digital and social media solutions. What gives us an edge in this process is their sound technical base. And expertise in technology in the digital and social media space is what sets them apart. Another aspect of the company’s approach that gives them a competitive advantage is the minimal response and churn time for an application as well as the post activation support.

In its short & young life, LikeMyWorld has executed many good campaigns. When asked to cite an example, Parashar after a pause said, “If we have to highlight a few of our campaigns, then foremost amongst them would be the MTV Roadies Predictions app, which was an enthralling experience to develop. Another very successful campaign was creating the Van Heusen Chinos Cousins. Giving the consumers a platform to decide their own designs proved to be a very engaging strategy.” For Payback India, the company designed three campaigns to increase their interaction with their consumers, Payback Offers, We Care and Affiliate applications. A few more applications that have to be added to the list are “Teri Meri Love Story” and “Gopi ki Godbharai” for Star Plus and many more.

Being able to deliver on a constant basis in the face of intense competition dominated by big players is no mean thing. Often big players in an industry make it quite tough for an entry level start-up to garner big business. However LikeMyWorld is unfazed and is here to stay. Concludes Parashar, “We do nothing except give our best. Each time, Every time! The bigger the challenge, the more is the excitement in tackling it.”
