Exit Polls, Modi 2.0 dominate news in Week 21

Chrome News Track, from Chrome Data Analytics and Media, has released the data for the "Most Aired, Most Watched and Most Discussed News” of Week 21, 2019.

The survey conducted is an outcome of the data collected from 34,000 Chrome DM panel homes across India. It analyses the effectiveness of the News aired on television every week and categorises it through three broad segments namely Most Aired, Most Watched and Most Discussed.

Most Aired News in Week 21

According to the Chrome News Track data for the Week 21 - 2019, “Exit Polls Predicting Modi 2.0” was the most Aired News this week, followed by News About “2019 Lok Sabha Elections”. The News about “PM Narendra Modi Interview & Activities” stood at the 3rd spot, the News about “ISRO Successfully Launches Earth Observation Satellite Risat-2B” was next in the list and News about “U.S. Bans All Nations from Buying Iranian Oil” managed to take the fifth and the last spot.

Most Watched News in Week 21

The survey also unveils that “Exit Polls Predicting Modi 2.0” was the most watched news for the week grabbing maximum eyeballs, followed by “2019 Lok Sabha Elections”. The news about “PM Narendra Modi Interview & Activities”, “US Bans All Nations from Buying Iranian Oil” and “ISRO Successfully Launches Earth Observation Satellite Risat-2B” also generated interests amongst viewers and are placed at 3rd, 4th and 5th, respectively, in the list.

Most Discussed News in Week 21

On the other hand, taking a closer view of the Most Discussed News category of the survey, the news about “Exit Polls Predicting Modi 2.0” has been the talk of the nation, making it the most discussed news, whereas the News about “2019 Lok Sabha Elections” happens to be the 2nd most discussed news as per the survey. “US Bans All Nations from Buying Iranian Oil” became the 3rd most discussed news among the masses. “PM Narendra Modi Interview & Activities” and “ISRO Successfully Launches Earth Observation Satellite Risat-2B” are placed at 4th and 5th, respectively, in the list.
