Experience 101% Shuddh Bollywood with Zee Bollywood’s festive line-up

Unleashing its high on filmoglobin line-up of pange se bhare filmein, Zee Bollywood with the brand promise of bringing to its viewers 101% Shuddh Bollywood is adding a dash of masaledaar movies this festive season. With an extensive library of Masalon se koot koot ke bhari filmein, the channel brings its week long Pange Mat Le Yaar line-up from 21st October to 27th October every day at 9pm.

Kickstarting the festival is Aamir Khan’s Oscar nominated film Lagaan which airs on October 21st at 8pm. This epic directed by Ashutosh Gowariker remains one of the most celebrated Indian films of all time. It brings together three distinct pseudo- religious Indian institutions: Bollywood masala musical, Cricket and the Indian independence movement, resulting in a strong cinematic connotation.

Adding entertainment ka tadka to the line-up is Ra.One featuring Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. With special effects that very few Hindi movies can boast of, this sci-fi movie is amongst one of the most expensive movies of India. Ram Lakhan starring Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor narrates the story of two brothers who must come together to avenge the death of their father. Withdhamakedaar songs and whistle-worthy fight sequences, this movie is full paisa vasool. Critically acclaimed Khalnayak gave Bollywood one of its iconic songsCholi ke peechhey kya hai and saw medley myths served with classic Ghai ingredients. A suspended police officer is asked to return to duty and hunt down the underworld mob boss, Azhgar from Kenya. Starring Sunny Deol and Chunky Pandey and featuring the hit song Saat Samundar, Vishwatma will surely appeal to every hard- core Bollywood fans. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is said to be the second most watched Hindi film in India. Set against the backdrop of Indian partition, the film tells the story of a Sikh truck driver who falls in love with a Muslim girl. End your week with the blockbuster Mohra which narrates the story of a journalist who comes to the aid of a murderer with a life sentence. When she makes an appeal in court and although he is given his freedom, they soon discover that there is a grim reason behind his release. Starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon amongst others, the movie is highly remembered for its chartbuster song Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast.
