Faasos surprises customers with a Pataka Box this Diwali

Faasos, India’s only internet restaurant brand with 500+ internet restaurants, has launched a limited edition Pataka Wrap collection featuring its bestseller wraps for Diwali. To celebrate this festivity, the brand has also introduced an exclusive Pataka Box which will be filled with Diwali goodies like playing cards, diyas, cookies, plantable crackers and a delightful note saying “This Diwali, Eat a Pataka. Be a Pataka!, instead of the usual patakas.

Faasos realised that Diwali is the time for parties and patakas, which meant people going to the quick delivery service apps and online shopping platforms. Taking advantage of this Faasos listed its Pataka Boxes online. When people received these Pataka Boxes they were surprised with its unusual contents. It had Faasos’ pataka wrap collection where the brand named its most loved wraps after the most loved diwali crackers. The chicken tikka wrap was renamed as Sutli bomb, the Bhuna wrap was named after 7-star, cheese corn salsa was called Crackler, the falafel called as the rocket, and many others.

The netizens were surprised when social media influencer Viraj Ghelani took to instagram to share his story of how he ordered a Pataka Box but instead received wraps. More and more people joined these conversations on the internet tagging the brand and sharing their experience.

Talking about the campaign, Indrajit Ghosh, Vice President Global Brands, Rebel Foods said, “Diwali is all about spreading joys and happiness and at Faasos we are always looking for ways to surprise our customers. The Faasos Diwali campaign elevates the festivities and mood of people with a message of how patakas are not limited to the bursting of crackers. With the Pataka Box, and the Diwali special wrap collection, our aim was to spread the joy of the festival with some ‘bomb’ tasting wraps.”

Customers can order Diwali exclusive Pataka Wraps from EatSure, Swiggy and Zomato.
