Fast forward with Lenovo Z2 Plus’ TV commercial

Lenovo MBG India has released a new TV ad for their Z2 Plus smartphone that showcases it as a fast, multitasking, power-packed device with a massive processor, targeted towards style, fitness and gaming lovers.

For today’s tech-consuming eat-sleep-move-repeat generation, speed is prime. For the keepers of cool, being able to do multiple things without letting that strand of hair move out of place is what matters. In comes the Lenovo Z2 Plus, a smartphone loaded with features to keep Gen Y at speed.

The core idea behind the film is to communicate the quick, zippy world of the protagonist where he goes from one date to another all with the help of the superfast Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone. The film begins with the protagonist unboxing an Amazon package revealing his new Lenovo Z2 plus smartphone. Then unfolds the story of his quest to find the perfect date who can match his sense of style, fitness and passion for gaming. The ad is a slick, fast paced peak into his life and depicts how his Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone with its powerful processor helps him switch from one situation and application to another seamlessly, all by a quick swipe.

The TV campaign named ‘Get Fast, Get Forward’ is conceptualized by Band Interprise, Singapore. The 30 sec TVC highlighting the superfast Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Health Tracker and 1 Button navigator of the smartphone, is produced by and directed by Arun Gopalan.

“We understand our consumers and their behaviour in this fast moving world, where they want to do more in a jiffy and everything all at once. In the TV ad, we integrated this with the phone’s functionalities, showing how Lenovo Z2 Plus is the perfect device to help them live this crazy fast life, while exploring their passions and interests. The pace of the film brings alive the speed at which the smartphone can multitask and deliver great experiences.” Rachna Lather, Marketing Head, Lenovo MBG-India.
