Femina’s March issue puts the spotlight on real women

In its March issue, Femina, India’s leading women’s magazine, pays tribute to real women everywhere. This International Women’s Day, Femina lauds the spirit of real women who smash stereotypes and choose to be in charge of their lives, their bodies, and their stories, every single day.

The cover features 10 inspiring and empowering women who are a reflection of the Indian women we know today. Because every story matters. Every story is real.

Speaking on the launch of the March issue, Deepak Lamba, CEO – WWM, said, “Women have always set the benchmark for self-acceptance, self-love, and inner beauty. In the March issue, Femina brings together 10 extraordinary women, each with their own unique perspective on what it means to be a woman. This is yet another step in Femina’s constant endeavour to showcase and normalise the idea that beauty goes beyond the conventional imagery conformed by society.”

“This issue is dedicated to women that we all know and to the un-airbrushed reality we occupy,” says Ambika Muttoo, Editor-in-Chief – Femina. “As a woman myself, I recognise the struggles and challenges we face every step of the way as we take control of our own stories. Femina has always been, and continues to be, a part of the evolved narrative around women.”

The March issue of Femina features moving notes from different real women from all walks of life. They share their thoughts on what defines a woman and how they are the physical manifestation of power.

The March issue features Flora Sharif, Deane Sequeira, Ashwati Shetty, Desiree Sangma, Letitia Mendes, Puja Kuley, Glorious Luna, Rutuja Pawar, Nandini Ghosh, Lalita Katgara and many more as they share real-life stories of overcoming obstacles, putting yourself first, and being comfortable in your skin while doing it.

Femina’s March issue, “The Real Stories of Imperfect Women” is available on stands now.
