Fever 104 FM brings horror series on radio; launches 'Kya Woh Sach Tha'

Fever 104 FM, the radio station that has been redefining the radio listening experience is all set to do it again. For the 1st time, the station is bringing horror series on air - ‘Kya Woh Sach Tha’. The radio drama is inspired by real life stories and is a collection of possibly the most eerie, spine-chilling extraordinary super natural stories of the ‘Unseen’.

The story line revolves around the main character Dr. Nagar, who is a Paraschycologist by profession and a fan of human mind and about stories he comes in his daily life. The radio series will see him take the Fever listeners through one unique story every day.

The launch episode has the story of a Mumbai based boy Anuj Joshi, who never believed in supernatural powers, till he experienced an incident on Mumbai-Pune highway. His car ran out of fuel in heavy rains on the lonely highway and he met an old man who offered him a lift till the nearest petrol station. The story later tells how Anuj finds out that the old man was dead 4 years back and his spirit connected with Anuj to take forward a message to a loved one.

Speaking on the initiative, Harshad Jain – Business Head, Radio & Entertainment – HT Media adds, “Fever has pioneered the idea of radio dramas in the industry and with such innovations we are trying to strengthen the concept of appointment listening. The genre is extremely gripping and has done very well on other mediums, we are sure that it will be a huge success on radio as well. ‘Kya Woh Sach Tha’ is also attempted towards capitalizing the night band which is underutilized at the moment; this is the time band when listeners are receptive to listening content and what better than horror for this hour”.

Starting today, the new radio drama has 20 episodes and will be telecasted Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM. The series will be promoted through a 360 degree media which includes print, radio, outdoors and online.
