FIFA takes a tough stance against piracy

In an official statement, football authority FIFA condemned Saudi Arabia based pirate entity beoutQ that “continues to illegally use the 2018 FIFA World Cup broadcast signal”. The organisation slammed Saudi Arabia in being negligent about the issue and has taken recourse to legal counsel to resolve the matter.

FIFA urges Saudi Arabia to put an end to illegal piracy of their content and is calling out the countries that facilitate these illegalities. Other sports authorities that have a vested interest in protecting their content have been working closely with FIFA to tackle this problem.
