Flipsters launches ‘For India’ video during The Big Billion Days

Employees at Flipkart have come together to create and launch a video song during its The Big Billion Days sale this year to celebrate its vibrant culture, and the work it has done in expanding e-commerce in India. Titled ‘Flipkart For India’, the video is part of Flipkart’s Big 10 celebrations, and takes the viewer along an abridged journey of the made-for-India innovations introduced by the company since founding in 2007.

The action of the video unfolds at Flipkart’s colourful head office in Bangalore with a Sitar playing in the background. Hundreds of Flipsters -- what Flipkart employees call themselves --, including leaders and founders, can then be seen working, in discussions, and echoing the ‘For India’ theme. Employees from Flipkart’s logistics arm, eKart -- the wheels that keep the company running, all the more during crucial festive season sales --  can also be seen joining in the ‘For India’ chorus enthusiastically.

The lyrics, singing and music composition for the 2 minutes 58 seconds video was done completely by Flipsters. The video is available on Flipkart’s Facebook page and can also be found on Flipkart Stories.
