FM Auction Day 6 belongs to Bhubaneswar

FM bidders finally seem to be changing gears and evaluating quite a bit before making the next move. Only 14 cities are applicable for percentage growth in price tomorrow with Bhubaneswar yet again topping the list with 8% and excess demand of 4 at round 24 prices.

Interestingly, the city already has six FM stations: RED FM, BIG FM, Radio Choklate, Radio E18, Radio Mirchi and AIR FM Radio.

Moving on, at the end of the sixth day of e-auctions, at the close of 24 rounds, 82 channels in 56 cities became provisionally winning channels with cumulative provisional winning price of around Rs 779 Crore against their aggregate reserve price of about Rs 395 Crore. The total of provisional winning prices exceeded the total reserve price of the first batch by about Rs 228.68 Crore or 41.56 %.  Rs 550.18 Crore is the total reserve price of the first batch.
