PV Sindhu has issued legal letters to around 20 firms that have been linked to the brand. PV Sindhu's content has already been taken down by HappyDent, Kotak Bank, Pan Bahar, Vicks, and Apollo Group. According to the TOI's examination of the social media posts, several businesses have already taken down their material.

Their argument is that it not only invades Sindhu's privacy, but also violates IOC rules regarding the blackout time, during which even the athletes' official sponsors are not permitted to promote.
