Former Publicis employee pulls up ex-ECD on social media over plagiarism

The former ECD of Publicis India, Ajeet Shukla, claimed over a LinkedIn post that the work he and his team recommended back in 2021 has now been recreated by the former ECD of Publicis India, Diwesh Dishu.
There is yet another post that has rocked advertising land. Ajeet Shukla, the former Creative Director of Publicis India, is being pulled up by an ex-copy supervisor of Publicis India.

Apparently, Diwesh Dishu was unaware of this prior to the incident.

While Dishu was at Publicis India, he and his team developed a concept for food brand Chings Hakka Noodles and shared it with former ECD Shukla over a phone call and via email.

Dishu writes on LinkedIn that the idea was not able to make it to the deadline due to multiple back and forths regarding the brief.

"But today, the idea was brought alive by Ajeet Shukla, for a different client in a different agency," he further added. Dishu supported his claims with screenshots of emails that were shared around the Chings campaign idea.

According to the link he provided in his post, this new client is Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, and the new agency is Dentsu.

In fact, Dishu asked Dentsu Creative West's chief creative officer Aalap Desai if he could keep these ideas in his portfolio.
