Founder of Hero MotoCorp dies at the age of 92

Brijmohan Lall Munjal, founder of hero group passed away on 1st of November, 2015 at South Delhi. He was one of the first generation entrepreneurs in India.

Munjal explored the path of success by entering into joint venture with the Japanese company Honda in the year 1984. His ideas of entering into joint venture with a foreign company helped the hero company to overtake other Indian competitors. Also by his constant efforts and hard work he had made Hero cycles company to be the World’s largest manufacturers of bicycles by the year 1986.

His execution of various ideas to develop the company had helped him fetch success and eventually become one among the 30 richest people in India.

Lall was rewarded with various awards and recognitions for his work throughout his life. He also enjoyed his position as member of the Regional Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He had proved himself to be an ideal businessman and also an inspiration to others. His death is indeed a great loss to the industry and the Hero group of companies.
