FOX Life's launches "Far Flung" with Gary Mehigan

Watch acclaimed Chef and MasterChef Australia Judge Gary Mehigan go off the beaten track to explore India- its local food and fast bikes on ‘Far Flung with Gary Mehigan’ starting 15th August 2015 @ 9pm every Saturday only on FOX Life. The show will catch the traveller and adventurous side of Gary on his fascinating journey through the far flung markets of Asia- India, Vietnam, Laos, South Korea and Hong Kong.

‘Far Flung with Gary Mehigan’ series kick starts in India where Gary Mehigan discovers the secret of the Mumbai Tiffin boxes and tries his hand at making one. He then experiences the craziness of Delhi’s street food masala style and immerses himself in the cacophony of the old spice markets. After exploring the metro cities of India, Gary heads to the Sun City of Rajasthan- Jodhpur to get a taste of the Riff Festival- a celebration of music and food, and chats up with the Maharaja of Jodhpur about his love for Jodhpur, its people and of course the food. Next stop, Gary fulfils his dream of visiting the Royal Enfield factory in Chennai where he rides a Royal Enfield Continental GT along with delving into the famous fish markets and cooking on the beach.
Gary’s travel diary also includes uncovering other Asian countries- from cooking alms for local monks in Luang Prubang in Laos, to attempting to run his own rice taco stall in Ho Chi Minh City to learning to make Dumplings with a Hong Kong legend.
