FreakOut appoints leadership team in three regions

 FreakOut, the global marketing technology company, part of FreakOut Holdings Inc [TSE:6094], has announced its expansion into 3 regions: Australasia, Middle East and Russia & CIS. FreakOut has appointed senior leadership to drive growth in the named regions as part of its ongoing commitment to deliver best-in-class service and expanded geographical coverage to its clients.

Commenting on the announcement, Narayan Murthy Ivaturi, Vice President - FreakOut said:

In addition to covering the local clients’ digital marketing needs in Australasia, Middle East and Russia & CIS, FreakOut offers clients the ability to launch their overseas programmatic campaigns successfully in solely Japan, South East Asia, or globally in all 16 markets and more. Benefiting from FreakOut’s existing range of products which span from native, programmatically available video to Digital OOH and television sync, clients can easily rely on the expertise of FreakOut’s established local leadership team.

Tasneem Ali, fondly known as Tas, has been named Managing Director, FreakOut Australia and New Zealand. With over 15 years of experience, Tas has successfully maneuvered brand strategy campaigns for some of the largest and most challenging domestic and international brands in Australia. In a span of 3 years, Tas took Australia’s first International University from 90% print to 90% online, bringing in revenues of over $1.5M. Prior to joining FreakOut, Tas was Country Manager, Australia, for Kiosked, where she brought onboard and managed one of the largest media publishers in Australia. In her new role at FreakOut, Tas will lead business development and strategy, strengthen existing and new product partnerships with publishers, and address diverse marketing challenges for FreakOut’s clients and for FreakOut Australia’s business overall. 

Sadia Akhtar has been appointed as Managing Director, FreakOut Middle East. Sadia joins from Addictive Mobility and brings over 14 years of experience in digital marketing communication to FreakOut. Her primary objectives will be to lead FreakOut’s entry into the Middle Eastern market, onboard the best local talent and collaborate with clients, agency partners and publishers on identifying the best digital and mobile strategies for them. By bringing her wealth of programmatic expertise into play coupled with a strong local relationship network, Sadia is poised to deliver FreakOut’s growth objectives and engender the FreakOut brand in the GCC region.

Alexey Romanenkov has joined the FreakOut family as General Manager, FreakOut Russia & CIS. Alexey has a remarkable 20 years of experience, focusing on the Russian digital market. In his previous role, Alexey championed business expansion into new geographies for several clients including Alibaba, Booking.com and CNOVA. At FreakOut, Alexey’s primary role will be to develop both local and cross-border business lines. Locally, he will lead and expand FreakOut’s operations in Russia & CIS markets, working together with clients on addressing their digital needs as well as onboarding local publishers into FreakOut’s network. For the overseas business, he will collaborate with his counterparts in APAC to bring market-specific expertise and traffic to Russian companies that are interested in expanding their service offering to the APAC region.

Tasneem Ali, Sadia Akhtar and Alexey Romanenkov will report into Narayan Murthy Ivaturi, Vice President - FreakOut.
