FreeCharge launched their revamped mobile site

India’s leading online recharge and bill payments platform, FreeCharge, today rolled out a revamped version of its mobile site that is user friendly and functions smoothly even on 2G connection. The new mobile site is significantly lighter and faster to use. It has only two screens – recharge/bill details and payment screen. Through the fresh mobile site consumers can complete their transaction in less than 10 seconds.

The new mobile site is supported by practically every browser and offers native app like experience even on low end smartphones. It offers innovative features such as one click recharge for returning users. FreeCharge has reduced the size of new mobile Site to one tenth for the consumers to enjoy a seamless recharge and bill payment experience even on slower network speeds.

The mobile site was redesigned with the goal of providing a level playing field for every mobile user in India who might not have a high end smartphone, latest browser or superb network speed. FreeCharge pioneers the idea of offering native app like experience on all channels which is a step away from recent “App only” trend in the market.

To this innovative introduction, Kunal Shah, CEO and co-founder, FreeCharge added, “We at FreeCharge are always inclined towards being inclusive and drive consumer satisfaction, this revamp is another step towards this aim. We are sure that the consumers will be delighted with the revamped super-fast interface of our mobile site. This will further enable accessibility and convenience for consumers in tier 2 cities and with slower internet connections.  ”

·         Transaction can be completed within less than 10 seconds
·         New mobile site offers one click recharge functionality
