FremantleMedia hires Diana Buddingh As Dir, Global Entertainment Production

FremantleMedia, one of the largest creators, producers and distributors of television brands in the world, today announced the appointment of Diana Buddingh as Director, Global Entertainment Production. Based in London, Diana will drive and manage the global roll-out of FremantleMedia’s formats from a production perspective, reporting into FremantleMedia’s CEO, Cecile Frot-Coutaz. She will take up her new position on 1st October 2013.

Diana will be responsible for the brand management and global roll-out of all FremantleMedia’s developed and acquired non-scripted formats including Idols, Hole In The Wall, Got Talent, The X Factor, Family Feud, and Take Me Out. She will lead the team to ensure the formats remain fresh and relevant whilst safeguarding their integrity and guaranteeing production quality, as well as promoting and enhancing best practice in production and collaboration within FremantleMedia’s global production network. Diana will manage all commercial, talent and third party relationships and will work closely with Rob Clark, Director, Global Entertainment Development, on the pipeline and roll-out of key developments.

Diana is a highly experienced international creative with a career spanning 27 years. She joins FremantleMedia from Talpa International where she was Head of International Productions responsible for all worldwide productions including The Voice, I Love My Country, and The Winner is… Prior to this, she worked for Endemol International on the development and roll out of award winning formats such as Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, and Star Academy. She has also worked as an independent producer for Dutch and German broadcasters and as a Creative Director at All American Fremantle. She began her TV career working for John de Mol as a producer and was responsible for developing and producing a wide range of entertainment shows for the Dutch and German markets such as Booby Trap, Love Letters and Blind Date.
