Friday Picture Premiere' presents 'Gulaab Gang' on 2nd October at 8 PM on &pictures!

&pictures, India's premium mass Hindi movie channel, as a part of its brand campaign ‘Naye India Ka Blockbuster Movie Channel’ brings the latest blockbuster movies to its viewers. The channel’s latest offering ‘Friday Picture Premiere’ will showcase hit movies that will premiere every Friday at 8 PM all through October. Commencing the series, &pictures is telecasting Anubhav Sinha’s much acclaimed action drama Gulaab Gang on Friday, 2nd October at 8 PM.

Directed by Soumik Sen and starring two gorgeous actors of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, in powerful roles, Gulaab Gang revolves around a group of fearless women fighting social injustice in a trademark rural set-up accompanied by witty and fiery dialogues.

Gulaab Gang brings together Madhuri Dixit Nene and Juhi Chawla for the very first time and also marks Juhi’s debut in a negative role. The movie narrates the story of Rajjo (Madhuri Dixit), a fearless and honest woman who runs a one of a kind shelter for socially abused women, where they are trained to be strong and independent. A crusader against all things evil, Rajjo and her Gulaab Gang take up issues like domestic violence, dowry, rape and community issues like water and electricity shortage that plague the village. Things soon turn messy when a powerful politician Soumitra Devi (Juhi Chawla) enters the village.
