From boring JDs to Captivating videos; Viral Fission launches ‘Not Your Regular Hiring’ Video

Viral Fission, one of Asia's largest Genz platform and youth intelligence partner to brands, is expanding to strengthen and add onto their existing Genz workforce. Through its campaign ‘Not Your Regular Hiring’, the young startup focuses to bring to life the depiction of what working in the Viral Fission office looks like.

While the essay - long job descriptions have been flooding the internet for years, the young cohort is often plagued by dilemmas on what the workplace will be like and who are the people they will work with. They are interested in the culture and vitality of the company and look forward to more than just pointers of what their role expects from them. Viral Fission addresses these concerns through its campaign.

Viral Fission has flipped the script on old school formats and addressed the question head-on that today's Gen Z has learned to ask - Why should I work for you? The immersive 180-second video ideated and created by Studio TBH, the content studio of Viral Fission is a captivating walk through video that takes the candidate objectively through different departments of the workplace. Through their narrative, they are giving an aspiring employee the opportunity to meet the team and check out the office even before applying for the job.

Studio TBH, Creative director Shreya Nair & Christy Johnson who heads the production team said: “One of our favourite parts of the process while creating this video was answering the question Would I apply if I watch this?"  It's gotta have energy, the right amount of drama and most importantly soul.”
