Gaurav Banerjee joins BARC India’s technical committee

Gaurav Banerjee, Disney Star Head- Content, Disney+ Hotstar & HSM Entertainment Network, has been appointed by the Broadcasters Audience Research Council (BARC) India’s Technical committee. He is a replacement to the Advisor to the Management and Board of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) Rohit Gupta.
Vikram Sakhuja, OOH Group & Madison Media CEO, heads the TechComm. Among other members of the three-member committee is Tejas Apte, General Manager – Media, South Asia for Hindustan Unilever,.
The audience measurement body has also strengthened its management team and appointed Ashish Gupta as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Bavan Mathews as Head of People Operations, who has joined the organisation in March. Before BARC, Mathews was a Human Resource Business Partner, South Asia at Kantar. Gupta was previously the CFO for India & Regional Projects with International SOS and joined BARC in April.
