Geometry Encompass, the Creative Commerce Agency of WPP, recently produced the virtual ‘Spoken Reunion’ for Kommune.  The festival of words took place on Sunday, 27th September 2020 and was hosted to bring the Spoken community and Kommune fans together. The Spoken Reunion served an eclectic mix of vibrant voices, poets, storytellers, lyricists, and musicians from across the country in diverse languages.

The event was hosted by the famous duo, Roshan Abbas & Gaurav Kapoor and was also graced by many other celebrated artists like Sriti Jha, Ankur Tewari, Anshu More, Megha Rao, Rakesh Tewari among others.

Attah partnered with Geometry Encompass to bring alive the virtual world of the Spoken Reunion. From live virtual stages to the Spoken Gully, a multimedia walk down memory lane with some of the most striking pieces of content that has been produced by Kommune and featured in past festivals. The virtual world had multiple engagements for fans that included, Instagram filters, game and even unique chat features that allowed attendees to talk to friends at the festival or even strangers who share the love for words.

Commenting on producing the event, Roshan Abbas, Founder of Geometry Encompass and Kommune said, “Why do online experiences, if it can’t bring the real world alive virtually. That's what Spoken reunion was all about- playfulness and soulfulness that was created by cutter performances, Live workshops. This led to unique discovery and shareability. We have always believed creators and tech shall build the new world, Spoken proved this as we lit up thousands of screens across the country with great art, great artists and a little fairy dust”

Sharing his experience on attending this one-of-a-kind event, Ankur Tewari, Singer and Song-writer said: 'Experiencing the Spoken Reunion was really special for me. It’s been so many months that we've been locked indoors and to experience the feeling of being outdoors, even though Digitally, is exactly what I needed.”

Adding further to this, Megha Rao, Author, and Poet said, “Spoken Reunion was a reminder of beautiful possibilities, a much needed escape during such grim times. I particularly enjoyed Jasmine's performance on midlife love and Sriti's delicate yet powerful confessions of being an asexual romantic. The Modern Voices stage has always been a place of inspiration for me - Mariyam was fierce like a phoenix and Kaushiki was absolutely breathtaking, and for one moment, I truly felt like I'd been transported to a parallel universe.”
