Godrej & Boyce celebrates Global Day of Parents

Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group, on the occasion of the Global Day of Parents, has released a new digital campaign, #ItsAlrightWFHParents, that pays tribute to all the parents mastering the art of managing their deadlines along with taking care of their little ones, while working remotely.

Created by Creativeland Asia, the light humoured music video film, is an ode to their employees who are also Work from Home parents. The campaign invited employees to share some of their memories of working remotely from home while also donning the hat of a parent. The visuals showcase the comical real life day to day scenarios that a child or even a pet often puts a parent through during a WFH routine. Complimenting these heartfelt visuals is the upbeat background music and quirky lyrics which is sure to bring a smile on your face and get you to sing along. The campaign drives a positive message reassuring parents working from home that they are doing a great job- one that they should be very proud of!

Speaking about the campaign, Mehernosh Pithawalla, Head of Brand and Strategic Insights, Godrej & Boyce, said, “These have been difficult times for all of us but even more so for those who, daily, have to play the delicate balancing act between their jobs as a professional and as a parent. From parenting a child to maybe a very loving pet at home, through this video, we, at Godrej & Boyce, would like to applaud these parents for the wonderful work that they are doing”.

During the challenging past year, Godrej & Boyce has undertaken many initiatives that aim to help its employees to stay strong and sail through this crisis. Apart from regular covid-19 advisories, the company also launched a Covid-19 Support group under their initiative #TogetherWeCan to inspire hope among those that might be dealing with covid-19 by covid-19 warriors sharing their experiences. Other interesting initiatives launched to commemorate family day was sessions for yoga for the whole family, an engaging session with a dietician on eating healthy followed by a cooking masterclass, mental wellbeing sessions and more.
