Godrej & Boyce launches digital campaign - #makeWFHwork

The way the world works has changed. The ongoing worldwide pandemic has transformed the idea of the ‘workplace’ and rapidly ushered in new productivity norms, social conventions and altered frameworks to enable professionals of all ages to work effectively from their place of residence.  To celebrate this transformation of the ‘office’, Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group has released a new stylised digital campaign that focuses on how to #makeWFHwork as a productive and inspiring experience.

People across the globe have adapted to this new normal at different speeds.  While some have adopted this new work style with elan and ease, some others are still to adjust to WFH without their old office environments and are struggling to be productive.

Commenting on the film Nyrika Holkar, Executive Director at Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd said that “Work from Home is a reality today for most professionals and it’s important to create “personal” spaces in our homes that can inspire us, keep us engaged, and make us productive while ensuring we remain connected to the rest of the family at home. At Godrej & Boyce, our businesses are working to create products and solutions that makeWFHwork.”

The video film showcases a wide range of work-from-home furniture solutions from its Godrej Interio and Script brands, that are multi functional, ergonomic with a contemporary aesthetic; environmentally sustainable appliances from Godrej Appliances that lower your carbon footprint; and integrated solutions to secure your home from Godrej Security Solutions.

As part of the campaign, a  stylised film uses rap to explore how to makeWFHwork! The film begins like a typical video call between two young professionals before it breaks into a fun, quirky problem-solution rap tête-à-tête.

Anu Joseph, Chief Creative Officer, Creativeland Asia, said, “WFH is definitely one of those 2020 topics that immediately splits the room with practical issues like comfort and efficiency are quite real. What we’ve tried to do in this film is set up all the WFH woes that all of us face every day and counter them with the solutions Godrej & Boyce has to address those woes. All this through the medium of a quirky rap battle."
