Golin promotes Jeff Beringer as president of global digital

Golin has elevated agency veteran Jeff Beringer to lead one of its largest speciality divisions.

Beringer began his career at IPG in 1998 as the director of web relations for Weber Shandwick. He later moved to Golin in 2004 and most recently held the position of global head of digital. In his 18 years at the company, Beringer transformed the digital practise into a cohesive division that serves clients all around the Golin network.

Beringer will continue to lead and contribute to new business while focusing on innovation and future strategies for the agency’s biggest clients. He will also head executive counsel for the digital specialty.
Global companies like Ferrero, J&J Skin Health, McDonald’s, PepsiCo, and Walmart have embedded talent in Golin’s digital department, which currently has approximately 400 international specialists on staff. Additionally, its teams take the lead in digital-first projects for clients including Adobe, LinkedIn, and Golin.

In addition to providing client support, Beringer will continue to work on the creation of fresh agency products, act as a contact point for customers of Golin to other IPG agencies, and manage the agency’s connections with technology vendors, online publications, and social media platforms. When IPG recently relaunched its centralised intelligence function, Collective Intelligence, Beringer acted as a partner in innovation.
