Google appoints Sapna Chadha as VP of SEA and South Asia Frontier

Sapna Chadha has been appointed as vice president of Google's Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier divisions (Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka).


Before this appointment, Chadha served as vice president of marketing for Southeast Asia and India. In a statement, Chadha said that SEA and the South Asia Frontier are home to some of the most creative and inventive companies, entrepreneurs, and advertisers in the world, making her excited to collaborate with them and support their expansion.
Chadha also commended the work of Stephanie Davis, her predecessor who is now moving to Europe, as well as the capable team she had already assembled.
"I am certainly hopeful that this year, and the years to come, will continue to be fulfilling as we charge ahead with our efforts to bring helpful products and services to more users and businesses and invest in skilling programs through meaningful public-private partnerships.
