Google postponed 30% commission on in-app purchases

After facing backlash from developers, Google has announced that it will postpone enforcing a 30% commission on in-app purchases of digital content in the Play Store from January to September next year.

Under the new policy, from next September Google will take a 30% commission on all digital content purchases from app developers.

According to media reports, Google postponed the policy as it faced backlash from South Korean developers. Some have chosen to dodge the rule by using other systems like direct credit card payments
