Got a Business? Get a website says BigRock's new Ad campaign

BigRock has launched its new integrated advertising campaign in order to promote their new offer, with the tagline "Got a Business? Get a website" so as to drive home the message that every business needs a website. BigRock had earlier announced a Rs. 10 Cr. advertising budget for this year. BigRock ran a highly acclaimed TV campaign early this year, which won an Abby for its ad creatives and was recently nominated for Best Internet Business at the World Brand Congress.

Created by Ideas@work, a total of four TVC's have been unleashed this time- an agency to rent cheerleaders, a budget wedding planner, a chest hair stylist! Furthermore, the campaign has a multi-lingual streak and will air in five languages as BigRock is a well-regarded pan India brand. The fourth commercial "A crooked politician' has been specifically created only for Social media.

In an exclusive conversation with Adgully, Bhavin Turakhia- Founder, BigRock explained how all the communication touch points amplified the campaign's buzz. Adgully also spoke to Zarvan Patel- Founder, Ideas@work to get the insights of the campaign.

Given today's competitive environment, one form of advertising certainly cannot sustain a brand. Also, as every medium is getting highly fragmented, the target audience too is rapidly evolving. Keeping with the same, the company wanted to evolve media plans.

Turakhia said, "To this end, we have seen an increase in spends on online and social media, in addition to the traditional mediums like television. The communication touch points for the BigRock campaign include a television campaign supported by aggressive online and social media advertising as well as contests and giveaways."

BigRock's business has grown in leaps and bounds since we started. In terms of revenue, BigRock has grown over 200% since it did our previous campaign (in January 2011) and over 1000% since its first launch. The firm has grown by 800% in terms of number of domains added since it started its previous campaign (Jan 2011). In terms of customers BigRock has grown by 2000% since January 2011. | By Aanchal Kohli [aanchal(at)adgully.com]
