Great Learning’s campaign #NewBeginning crossed 4 million impressions

With the growing demand for digitally skilled talent in the country, the majority of students and professionals are looking to learn new skills. However, many of them are unaware of the domains that offer lucrative career opportunities and the steps required for a successful career transition. With the aim to help individuals in making better and informed career decisions, Great Learning launched a campaign #NewBeginning a few weeks ago wherein they offered free career counseling opportunities to students and professionals conducted by renowned domain experts across all experience levels - from mid-managers to CXOs in the fields of Analytics, Data Science, Product Management, Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud computing, Cyber security, and so on.

The campaign, which allowed people to nominate themselves by booking a slot via Great Learning's social media handles on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn has turned out to be a resounding success. With over 40 mentors from 8 domains, the week-long campaign saw participation from over 500 professionals and crossed 4mn impressions / 1,17,000 likes, comments, and shares across all social media platforms. It got maximum traction on LinkedIn leading to 1.4x growth in active engagement for Great Learning.

Speaking on the campaign’s success, Aparna Mahesh, Chief Marketing Officer, Great Learning said “As organizations across industries are heavily investing in digitization, it has made students and professionals intrigued to know more about the options to future proof their careers. While young professionals are aware of their options, they require a significant amount of hand holding to help them figure out the right path. Given the nature of the changing job landscape, it can get fairly intimidating to take that first step in the right direction. On a fundamental level, what this campaign successfully managed to do was connect these budding freshers with innumerous questions to industry experts and mentors who could help them with the right answers. The campaign received a fantastic response leading to millions of social impressions in merely a week. Also, hundreds of professionals from across the country benefited from it.”
