Grofers renames as Blinkit

Grofers, a grocery delivery service, has rebranded as 'Blinkit.' According to a blog post, the decision is in line with the company's aim of rapid commerce. The name represents its goal of getting goods delivered within 10 minutes, indicative of the 'blink of an eye.'
According to the blog post, the firm receives over a million orders every week from twelve locations in India. "As Grofers, we learned a lot, and all of our lessons, our people, and our infrastructure are being repurposed to pivot to something with incredible product-market fit – fast commerce. Today, we are advancing as a new firm, with a new goal statement - 'instant commerce indistinguishable from magic,” according to the corporation
