Havas Life Sorento launches creative contest to keep WFH employees engaged

As part of its team building program for their WFH employees, last week Havas Life Sorento had an interesting ART THE MASK contest. Teams had to share the masks they had designed and also would be something that they would be proud to wear.

While there were many interesting entries the one that got the jury’s award was the Truck Art mask.

The art on trucks in the Indian subcontinent is almost a genre in itself.

Known for its kitschy designs, the style is instantly identifiable through intricate hand-painted motifs. It draws influences from Indian mythology and design in its motifs and carries messages directed at vehicles following the trucks, at times, couplets favoured by the artists . Most of them are – Go Slow, Wait for Signal, Horn OK Please, and so on. At times, there are witty couplets as well, courtesy the artists.

Inspiration enough for us to transfer this unique style on to face masks. Also, it would serve as a sign of respect and acknowledgement to the thousands of truck drivers and good carriers working tirelessly to transport daily supplies and essential in these trying times.
