Haywards 5000 launches its new identity the- "Har Kadam Hausla Buland" Anthem

Haywards 5000 an iconic brand from SABMiller group, has launched the audio version of its new identity- the "Har Kadam Hausla Buland' anthem across the country. The lyrics of the anthem have been written by the great lyricist Javed Akhtar and the anthem has been composed and sung by renowned singer Kailash Kher from the film industry.

The stories that inspired the anthem were collected through "Hausla Buland Movement" wherein a "Hausla Rath" travelled across 59 towns/cities across India over a period of three months. In addition, people also contributed their stories on phone.

Inspired from these true stories of grit & resolve of common men across India, the anthem exemplifies the brand's new vision of Hausla Buland.

Elaborating on the inspiration that led to lyrics, Javed Akhtar said, "A common man faces his life's challenges with resolve and resilience. And with resolve, comes the confidence of facing difficulties with aplomb."

The anthem captures the essence of unrelenting spirit of common man as he maintains his resolve and moves from one milestone to other, finally reaching his destination.

Sharing his experience of composing the music, Kailash Kher said, "This song is unconventional unlike other songs, the lyrics are unstructured and flow freely like a river therefore the music raises step by step, until it reaches a crescendo. This exemplifies the journey of common man who progresses step by step, finally reaching his destination."

The campaign now seeks to empower and inspire the people of the country through this anthem that captures the unrelenting spirit of grit shown by common men.

Commenting on this initiative, Derek Jones, Director Marketing, SABMiller India said, "We believe the time is right to infuse renewed freshness into the brand and reflect an identity that truly articulates our spirit. The new positioning is about a celebration and vindication of overcoming life's everyday obstacles through grit, determination, and optimism".
