Hero MotorCorp announces Niranjan Gupta as new CEO

Hero MotoCorp has appointed Niranjan Gupta as their new Chief Executive Officer. His new position will be effective from May 1, 2023.
Gupta is a senior leader with experience in finance and procurement. 
He is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO),Head- Strategy and M&A at the company.
Before joining Hero MotorCorp, Gupta was working with Vedanta Resources Plc as CFO Aluminum & Power for over two years.

In 2008 he joined Unilever as procurement head, south asia and gradually in 2012 he was elevated to Global finance director, household care, London. He worked with Unilever for over six years.
Prior to Unilever he has also been associated with Hindustan Lever Limited as finance head, modern foods limited.
